Polyvinyl chloride cooperates with biomass to assist in the directional conversion of N and Cl as NH<sub>3</sub> and HCl to prepare clean fuel by low-temperature microwave heating

This work proposed an innovative integrated process to produce clean fuel. Waste polyvinyl chloride (PVC) was co-pyrolysis with biomass as a hydrogenation agent enhance the conversion N of NH3 in gaseous product by microwave heating. demonstrated conditions suitable for PVC and (straw rice husk, respectively) based on denitrification dechlorination effects including indexes Cl removal ratio HCl production ratio. The mass (PVC: biomass), heating power, active carbon (AC), pyrolysis temperature turned out be significant factors PVC: AC were also positive converting HCl. optimum operating 1:9, power 500 W, 1.6 g, 300 °C. mechanism could primarily related volumetric selective advantage heating, being attributed producing abundant H radicals from promoting reaction remove NH3. Moreover, effect differences between electric studied explore non-thermal effect. amount almost 5%–10% higher. 10% 7% higher than that enhancement better result specific addition thermal effect, containing more uniform heat distribution characteristics. present may provide new viewpoint utilization chlorinated plastic waste fuel avoid corrosion when treating waste.
